Elkhart wildlife control tip of the month:

What are some ways to kill a squirrel in the yard?

If your backyard or garden has been broken by the squirrels, you may feel helpless, because they are fast moving rodents and they are good climbers as well. However, no matter how small they are and how fast they are, you can do something to catch them and to prevent them from coming back to your property once again. They can bring serious damages to your property, by eating your vegetation. The others will even munch on your attic walls. The probable problem may seem endless. You must not surrender to the annoyance of the squirrels. You can also be a practical Elkhart exterminator individual and get rid of these rodents, so that you can go back to your normal life.

Anyone with a garden should go out of his/her way to get rid of the squirrels. They will eat the fruits, seedlings and veggies in the garden. Some will even break your flowers and eat the seeds of your bird feeders. You must place the bird feeder more than 8 feet over the ground and far from the trees that the squirrels cannot jump onto it. You must bury the lemon or the orange rinds just below the garden soil. They will act as a normal Elkhart animal trapping repellent for the squirrels. You can also use the cloves of garlic just after the spring bulbs. The garlic powder along with the cayenne pepper will serve when they are placed on the soil of the garden before the plan even blooms.

Some have discovered that the human hair as well as the dog hair acts as a squirrel repellent. You must also check out from your local Elkhart pest control shops if they have the motion sprinklers. Though these were made to keep cats, rabbits and other animals away, they will also help in scaring the squirrels. You can also use some peppermint oil, vinegar and mint to drive them away. The plants coming from the Narcissus genus such as daffodils contain a different flavor that the squirrels cannot take. They also have a poisonous substance coming from the bloom to the bulk and then needs an extra care, but this is not a high maintenance kind of plant.

The Liliaceae family or better known as the crown imperial works as a good Elkhart wildlife removal squirrel repellent. They just grow more than three feet in height, but it produces a scent that these creatures do not want. Marigolds on the other hand also contain the detracting smell for the squirrels to step out of the garden. You can also have some perennial plants like Liliaceae with a scent that is close to the scent of the garlic and onions to get rid of the Elkhart animal control squirrels.
