Notre Dame wildlife control tip of the month:

Should I ever poison a squirrel? (The answer should be NO)

It is not hard to buy any poisonous substances to get rid of the squirrels and to start squirreling infestation. However, it is hard to poison them because you are not a Notre Dame exterminator professional and you are not well versed in this matter. The next thing is that there is no lawfully registered poison and there is no 100% efficient chemical that you can use for them to die right away. If there is anything you can do, you can try them but don’t expect the squirrels to die right away. You must be ready for the results Notre Dame wildlife removal poisoning can bring you, just be very careful, because your home pets may also die because of the poison that you will give the squirrels.

Are you ready to do this? If you will ask the Notre Dame animal trapping experts if poisoning the squirrels will be a perfect solution, the answer is no. Though it has been very common for people to poison them, since that requires no effort at all, there are pros and cons accompanied by it and you must be ready for the outcome. Leaving the poison in a particular place is not just a good idea, because squirrels are so active and they move from one place to the other. In a lot of instances, the use of various chemical substances has been just useless. Some of the poisonous substances that you can use to kill the squirrels are as follows:

1. Rat poison
Even if it kills the squirrels, it will stay in the house and it will rot there. It will create an awful smell that will spread throughout the house. Notre Dame pest control Antiagulants may be another type and this has been an advantage for a lot of people, since it is not linked with bad smell and damages. The effects are also dramatic and not drastic and that may happen in 2-3 days’ time. That means that the creatures have more time to leave their nesting place and die in some other place. They will die of anemia and hypovolemic circulatory shock.

2. Too much salt and sugar
Why sugar and salt? Just like humans, Notre Dame animal control animals can also die when they eat too much of salt and sugar, that is why they eat fruits and nuts that are normally low in sugar and salt content or most of them are salt free. Fat pests cannot run from the predators, they will suffer from clogged arteries and their blood flow will slow down. What you will do is to leave sugary fruits and salty nuts around. Too much salt can affect their heart and it will boost their blood pressure. Be sure that these creatures will get more salt than the usual to make them die.
